Maisy (Sprockets Mayflower)

Maisy is a stunning 12 hh 12 year old Dartmoor pony, suitable for a capable young rider who would like to take part in pony club games, showjumping (up to 2ft 9) and cross country, or alternatively Maisy has such a sweet nature that she would also suit being a lead reign pony for a complete beginner.

Maisy is for loan for either one child or possibly two to share at Billow Farm Livery, Breadstone, where the facilities include over 200 acres of riding, including indoor lunge arena, two large outdoor schools, large indoor arena and now has quite a few instructors (Tom Buckland, Tom Searle, Ellen Brechner-Nolan and Linda Smith) based there, making it an excellent learning facility for any new or inexperienced rider.

The cost of loaning Maisy would be £120.00 per calendar month, (or £60 each if two children) this covers her yearly livery costs, she is on DIY (living out mostly) during the Summer months and on Part Livery for the Winter months. It also covers her food, farrier costs and her insurance.

For Loan/Share - Kosmo Crystif

Kosmo is my 15hh, 15 year old pure Crabbet Arab gelding who would be suitable for an experienced rider, either a teenager or adult.

He has a lovely nature and is excellent at dressage, hunting, team chasing, XC and pony club games, he quite happily hacks out alone and is excellent in traffic, although he has a large jump, he can sometime have an “Arab moment” when it comes to showjumping and put in a stop at coloured fillers, however he has no issues with natural coloured jumps and successfully competed as part of a Berkeley Hunt Intermediate team at the Cotswold Hunt Team chase last year.

He is also very adaptable to the rider’s needs – if you want a forward going horse he will be, but alternatively a friend who had lost confidence due to a bad fall chose to have some lesson on him - helping her regain her confidence because he was calm and very well behaved and went at the pace she chose.

Kosmo is for loan/share at Billow Farm Livery, Breadstone, where the facilities include over 200 acres of riding, including indoor lunge arena, two large outdoor schools, and a large indoor arena. He is on part livery all year round, and I would be looking for a contribution of £120.00 per month towards his livery bill plus half the cost of shoeing.
